Eric Thorp,  ReStore Volunteer

“I’ve been volunteering at ReStore since March of 2008. In the past two years I’ve accumulated roughly 900 volunteer hours at ReStore alone. I started volunteering as a way to gain retail work experience, but I’ve continued to volunteer because it’s just plain fun. I love going out on the truck, exploring Montgomery County, and picking up donations. The people are great and fun to work with and everything we do helps support the building of affordable housing in our community, not to mention moving furniture is better than going to the gym. I’d recommend volunteering at ReStore to anyone looking to beef up their resume/college application and have a fun, rewarding experience in the process!”

Eric has been an amazing volunteer at Habitat ReStore and we thank him for his hours of service to our community!
